For example, in 2005, the Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) of the Global Funds allowed CHAZ to procure, store and distribute ARVs, Long Lasting Nets, Laboratory Equipment, reagents and supplies to supplement government efforts. The understanding was that CHAZ was going to be responsible for the procurement, storage and distribution of ARVs and other equipment and supplies needed to implement ART programs in faith based health institutions.
